It's A Boho Themed October!

Designed a boho theme using Canva. Took me quite some time to edit, select the element, adjust, selecting the fonts, colours, transparency, position of the elements to create this design. Another exploration of boho design using Canva. There is so much more to learn in Canva.

Here's to wishing everyone a Happy October!

May the start of October remind you: you are worthy of new beginnings. You are worthy of finding joy in this season, no matter what is still unknown.

You are worthy of being able to look beyond all of the things that did not go according to plan, knowing that no matter what fell apart, there is still more ahead. As sure as the evening sky eventually surrenders to the morning horizon, may you know that the past has surrendered to the present and you are free to live fully, right here, where you are.

Let October be a place of new beginnings. Take what you have learned and apply it to something new. Things will be different here, but all if it will shape you. And perhaps that can be a beautiful thing. Perhaps in all of these unknowns, you will only learn something.

Kawaii Inspired Canva Design - Motivational Quote

Today, i made a kawaii design in canva for a motivational quote when you are feeling blue. The kawaii cloud represent the sad feelings but trying to fight it off, hoping and dreaming that one day it will all be magical joyful like a unicorn. The other kawaii cloud represent kawaii heart shapes dancing over the blushing cloud - representing the feelings of wanting to be happy while dwelling in the sadness. Overall, the colour theme is a mixed pastel happy colours to oversome one's sadness.

“Don't cry over someone who wouldn't cry over you.”

― Lauren Conrad

They say it’s normal to feel sad at times as it is to be happy!

Remember that sadness is just one of the many emotions we experience as we go through our ups and downs of life. Trust the process and one day, everything will be fine. To everyone out there who struggle with their emotions at times or feeling down and blue, pause for a moment and take a deep breath. Take time to figure out the next steps.

Hope you will have a brighter better day tomorrow and for the days to come.

Wedding Boho Theme - Wedding Invitation Card Idea

Tried a simple design in Canva with bohemian-themed wedding idea -Boho weddings is a theme that incorporate an eclectic mix of natural, rustic, and vintage details into the design. There's a lot of choices of font in canva and if you are to edit on your own, you have to go through a lot of the fonts before deciding with the one you like. As for the theme, it's easily searchable with the right colour palette to mix and match. As for the elements/images to insert, there are plenty of images that is available; which will also take some time to design your template especially if you are new to canva. This is my take on a draft for wedding invitation and save the date card for boho themed wedding. This is for those who likes minimalist simple boho wedding theme.

well hello....

"do you have a favorite saying?" asked the boy

"yes" said the mole

"what is it ?"

"If at first you don't succeed, have some cake"

"I see, does it work?"

"Every time"

I'm loving the artwork in this book with the simple conversation and messages delivered yet it might be the hardest things for many of us to constantly sustain it into our life. Sometimes the basic values of life are easily forgotten and we lose our way. Let us be kind to each other and spread positivity in today's uncertain world.

The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse by Charlie Mackesy

Charlie Mackesy offers inspiration and hope in uncertain times in this beautiful book, following the tale of a curious boy, a greedy mole, a wary fox and a wise horse who find themselves together in sometimes difficult terrain, sharing their greatest fears and biggest discoveries about vulnerability, kindness, hope, friendship and love. The shared adventures and important conversations between the four friends are full of life lessons that have connected with readers of all ages.

Enter the world of Charlie’s four unlikely friends, discover their story and their most important life lessons.

The conversations of the boy, the mole, the fox and the horse have been shared thousands of times online, recreated in school art classes, hung on hospital walls and turned into tattoos. In Charlie’s first book, you will find his most-loved illustrations and some new ones too.

“The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse is not only a thought-provoking, discussion-worthy story, the book itself is an object of art.”- Elizabeth Egan, The New York Times
